In this “surprisingly moving piece about teen life” (HBO Coverage), talented high school artist David McNeil is desperate to prove himself to his runaway father by winning a state championship basketball jacket. Grueling tryouts, family conflict, and strained friendships are merely the underpainting for David’s greatest challenge as he suddenly finds himself in the role of friend and protector of Dribbles – a mentally challenged old janitor and the basketball team’s unofficial mascot.

With self-confident new girl at school, Mary, as his guiding spirit and artistic muse, David may just find there are more important measures of a man’s worth than trophies. This “beautifully written, heart warming, and quite charming” (Republic Pictures Coverage) story is one to experience again and again.

Hello Woods Hole Film Festival!
Greetings!
We’re quite thrilled that “Dribbles” has been named an official selection of the 2008 Woods Hole Film Festival.

Festival screenings have been a wonderful experience and we are greatly looking forward to a week spent on beautiful Cape Cod in the summer.

If you’d like to know a lot more about “Dribbles” before adding the film to your festival calendar, please feel free to visit the official web site at www.dribblesmovie.com .

Through this blog we will keep everyone up-to-date with the latest news concerning “Dribbles” and its screening at WHFF.

Parents who attend film festivals and wonder about the content of unrated films should know that “Dribbles” is suitable for all audiences but, thematically, the film isn’t really intended for the younger children. If you have middle-schoolers and teenagers, we strongly encourage you to bring them along.
