Q&a with ian maxtone-graham. If you have ever wondered what makes Bart tick or when Homer will become a metrosexual, now is your one and only chance to ask. On Saturday, August 1st, the Woods Hole Film Festival and Quicks Hole Restaurant are proud to present a Q&A with writer, producer Ian Maxtone-Graham. If your kids are messed up from watching too much of The Simpsons on TV, this is a great chance to learn why. Ian Maxtone-Graham has been a writer for The Simpsons since 1995. Before that, he wrote for Saturday Night Live for three years, where he co-wrote Adam Sandler’s “The Chanukah Song”. At The Simpsons, he has received five Emmy Awards as a producer, and two as a writer, for “Trash of the Titans,” and “The Seemingly Neverending Story.” He has also won three Annie Awards and a Writer’s Guild Award. Last season, he and his writing partner, Billy Kimball, wrote the episode “Gone Maggie Gone,” a spoof of Da Vinci Code-type movies.
